b. Gravesend, Kent
Not always factually correct
Holly Rogers is an artist living and working in the North West
of Kent. Her work explores ideas of the Triple A
(artist-anthropologist-archeaologist), Estuarian-ism (that is, peoples from the Estuary), and the tragi-comedy of domestic life, topped off with a maraschino cherry. Holly is also the director of CUEL, a research centre investigating and presenting Estuaryhood in Kent.
Holly's recent work comes from her ongoing working relationship with her 80-year-old grandmother, Nan Pat, and the rest of her family. Their collaborations can be seen here.
